Bulldozer action by cutting electricity

Prior to the action, the power supply of the entire area was stopped. The joint team of police and AMC (Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation) landed the township with the help of 50 JCB machines and 30 dumpers. More than 2000 policemen, Crime Branch, SOG, Cybercrime and SRP teams were also deployed in this operation.

Eye kept on with more than 10 drones

More than 10 drones were deployed to monitor the area. During the operation, the police broke the door of Lalla Bihari's farmhouse and entered inside and it was also demolished.

Illegal settlement has been removed earlier also

Joint CP (Crime) Sharad Singhal said that a similar illegal settlement was removed near Chandola Talab, but was encroached again in a few years. The recent AMC survey found that these people had done illegal construction by putting soil on government land.

Focus on maintaining peace

Police officials said that maintaining law and order during the action was a priority so that there is no loss of violence or life and property.

Ever eye in other areas of the city

Apart from Chandola Lake, illegal settlements have also been found in areas like Shah Alam, Siyasatnagar, Nawabnagar and Phulgiri roofs. The police have indicated that similar action can be taken in these areas in the coming days.
